Classes are $35.00 for 1day class and $70.00 for 2 day class unless otherwise specified. Supply list and info is given when class is paid for.

LOCALS: overnight for class is $45.00 per night for regular class attendees, it includes breakfast. If you would like to come the night before the class the cost is $45.00 for the room when you are also staying the 2nd night, no class time. Please come after dinner. The rest of the meals are POTLUCK. The sleep over price is for regular class attendees and potluck.

THOSE COMING FOR A RETREAT: if taking a class with a retreat, the regular retreat price applies along with the above class price. If taking a class the retreat is 3 nights for $290.00

RETREAT INFO: check in is 4pm-5pm the Thursday afternoon before class with dinner at 6pm. Class is Friday and Sat. check out is after brunch on Sunday.

MAKE UPS WILL BE VERY LIMITED, BE SURE TO ATTEND YOUR CLASS (there are no refunds on classes)

PREREQUISITE FOR EVERY CLASS IS THE BEGINNING CLASS or expertise in folding, cutting and basic quilting terminology and techniques, except the beginning class of course

CLASSES ARE ALL BEGINNING LEVEL UNLESS SPECIFIED OTHERWISE as the technique taught is beginning level for that technique. You must have taken the basic beginning class or have those skills and vocabulary.

KITS AVAILABLE FOR ALL CLASSES AND RECOMMENDED. Price is in addition to class fee. The SNOWMEN IN JUNE RETREAT HAS A MYSTERY KIT (additional cost)

Thursday Jan 10th 9am-Sat. Jan. 12th 4pm 9th ANNIVERSARY RETREAT. $120.00 for 3 days of class and 2 nights. Food is potluck. Door prizes and fun!

Friday Feb. 29th CHENILLE RUG. Make your own chenille in this fun and easy class. Go home with a chenille rug for the bath or kitchen or 2 bath mats. Specific tools required and sold here.

Sat. March 1st PHOTO TRANSFER. Make a paper pieced pillow or wall hanging using your own transferred photo. Bring your photo. You will do transfer here and learn best product to use.

*Friday April 18th and Sat. April 19th ‘ARIA’ HYDRANGEA WALL QUILT WITH 3D FLOWERS AND CRYSTALS. Learn another 3D technique from Mount Redoubt Designs. Kit a must!

*Monday May 5th and Tuesday May 6th in Layton, UT. PINE NEEDLES CLASS. See below
GREAT CLASS WITH LOTS OF TECHNIQUE. Class fee for both days is $90.00

*Sat. May 24th and Sun. May 25th COUPLES RETREAT AND OTHERS (men fish, hike, bird watch or sight see) QUILTERS DO PINE NEEDLES CLASS. GREAT CLASS WITH LOTS OF TECHNIQUE. Choose any Makenna Ryan pattern or kit from me. Learn to fuse with a Teflon sheet, big piece fuse, freezer paper appliqué of ultra suede, meander and free motion quilt, use variegated thread, use border paper to quilt your border. See website ‘In Full Bloom’ the individual birdhouse or fuchsia kit available. I also have wildlife kits available, can send pictures for you to select your kit.

Friday June 6th and Sat. June 7th SNOWMEN IN JUNE. Retreat in Thursday June 5th and out Sunday June 8th. Mystery snowman kit for class project. Learn several new techniques. Also get your ‘snow globe’ kit ahead of time and add the crystals with a special tool at the retreat. Many other snowmen kits will be available at the retreat including a quick and easy snowman basket. The B&B will be totally decorated with snowmen. ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT

Friday June 13th and Sat. June 14th SNOWMEN IN JUNE. Retreat in Thursday June 12th and out on Sun. June 15th. SEE ABOVE. This time frame will open when the one below is full

*Friday Aug. 8th and Sat. Aug 9th PIECING RETREAT. 5 DAY RETREAT. Make ‘OUT OF DARKNESS’, TOUCH OF ROMANCE, COLORWASH IRISH CHAIN OR A BLENDED QUILT or any pieced quilt. Class fee $105.00. Retreat in Thursday Aug 7th and out Tuesday Aug. 12th, may add 6th night and out Wed. Aug. 13th. All the above kits except blended are on my website, the blended quilt will be picked by you as part of the class.

*Fri. Aug 22 and Sat. Aug. 23 GARDEN TWIST. Make this beautiful bed quilt with flowers coming out a trellis. Kit available in purple and green (fabric from ‘quilt for a cure’) or other colors. Picture of quilt on website. Kit will be picked individually for your color choice.

*Friday Sept. 12th and Sat. Sept. 13TH BEGINNING CLASS. Retreat in Thursday Sept. 11th and out on Sunday Sept. 14th. Learn to fold, cut, piece, fuse with machine appliqué, layer, machine quilt and add binding. You will make a 16” wall quilt from my pattern ‘SEASONAL WALL HANGINGS”

*Friday Oct. 10th and Sat. Oct. 11th PAPER PIECING. Do blocks from my NEW BOM “NORTHWOODS ADVENTURE’ or Crazy Daisy Days or Turkey. ADVANCE PAPER PIECING making a floral wall hanging from shop patterns. *Order the BOM and bring them with you for class.
